The Urban Philosophy Project slowly takes form and the first things are set. The second short treatment is done (v2.4) and the work on our first pilot ‘Urban Philosophy > Berlin‘ starts within this years October. During the preparation for the Berlin shoot we’re working on a second pilot. For ‘Urban Philosophy > Reykjavík‘ I’m really proud to announce Ragnar Ólafsson as producer for the sound. The icelandic musician lives in 101 Reykjavík and is part of the bands Árstíðir and Ask the Slave. Till December 2010 he’ll produce the soundlogo for the Reykjavik episode (S00E02). At the last week of the year, we’ll shoot the footage with Co-Director Anna-Lilja Häfele and DoP Christian Struck.
If all would work like the plan, we release both pilots at the end of QI/2011. During this time, we’re still working on the final concept, finalizing the project package and looking for new partners. In a few months we would release piece by piece more information about the project, future episodes and the people producing all the stuff, so stay tuned.
